1. What is the name of the website?
Visit www.aroundwellington.com! Readers can also find it by simply Google searching “Around Wellington.”
As a business owner, you develop an offer (for example, 20% OFF for one month). We work with you to get the wording and the overall “look” of it right. And we email your offer to our ongoing list of Around Wellington readers, currently approximately 500 email addresses. This list continues to grow each month with our contest, as those who enter our contest are also submitting their email addresses.
Please send us your logo or an online ad that you have ready: JPG files and PDF files are preferred. Please also send us your website address. Or let us know if you’d like the logo to link to an existing ad instead. And send us a slogan or a brief 1-2 sentence description of your business, including your phone number (for the roll-over message).
Just contact us anytime with your changes at: firstname.lastname@example.org or (561) 965-6617. All ad changes are charged a design fee of $40 per hour; however, there is no fee for any changes that take 30 minutes or less to do.
We will accept credit card payments only: MC, Visa or AmEx. Ask for our credit card authorization form or find it on our website on the “Advertise” page. Credit cards will be charged between the 15th – 20th of the month prior to publication. For example, your credit card will be charged between January 15 – 20 for the February ad.
We will still offer a monthly contest, monthly columns by the same writers and many other elements from the magazine-version as you know it. We will be taking more PHOTOS “Around Wellington” of special events…from charity events to kids’ soccer games to groundbreakings and posting them on our website. Our loyal Around Wellington readers will keep reading their favorite parts of the magazine online. And the photos, posted exclusively on our website, will drive new readers to our website as well! We will also be offering a “Community Bulletin Board,” focused on the exchange of information and goods in the Wellington/Royal Palm Beach area.
However, we are conscious of the fact that people do enjoy the printed publication and enjoy reading it “at their kitchen table.” This is why the advertising rates are greatly reduced. This way you can still get your name out there to the same great Around Wellington audience and do so—in these economic times—more affordably.
Yes. However, we publish 11 times per year. There is one combined issue in the summer; usually the July/August issue is combined.

In other words, our niche is the “new” Wellington, the group of neighborhoods found on the east side of Wellington/Royal Palm Beach. As an online publication and community gathering site, we carry through with the same loyal Around Wellington readers, as our email subscriber list continues to grow, adding on anyone who wishes to subscribe. Just click on the “Subscribe” page if you are not already a subscriber!
Businesses will be offered more targeted marketing services, thanks to a team of talented people who have worked on the magazine over the last 3 years. Similar to the “Merchant of the Month” story from our print publication, we will interview you about your business and what you do best, take photos and write a story of approximately 500 words for publication on our website. If you have already been a “Merchant of the Month” in the past, we will focus on a particular aspect or angle of your business, making it new to our readers. The “Around Wellington Spotlight” will be a great showcase of all that you have to offer.
Yes, we will offer 100 glossy, full-color flyers for an additional $150, perfect for handing out to new potential customers or at special events. Also suitable for framing…(at least one)! Or you can get 250 glossy flyers for an additional $250.
Just click on “Archives” for all past print issues of the magazine. If you would like to purchase an archived issue of Around Wellington Magazine, just send a check for $6 to: Around Wellington Magazine Archives, 6243 Sand Hills Circle, Lake Worth, FL, 33463. Please put the month and year of the issue in your note to us, as well as your mailing address, and the magazine will be sent to you!
For cancellations, please call us at (561) 965-6617 or email us by the 15th of the month, prior to publication (i.e. by Jan. 15th for the February ad). For cancelling a contract early, a nominal fee of one more month is due upon cancellation. For example, for an ad that still has three more months reserved, if a cancellation is made by Jan. 15th, then the February payment is due upon cancellation.
THANK YOU for your business!
