Family Tennis PlayDay Coming to Wellington
Gone are the days of boring drills and chasing balls all over regulation-sized tennis courts. Parents and children of all playing levels are invited to the Wellington Tennis Center on Saturday, May 19th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for a USTA 10 and Under Tennis Family PlayDay.
Team registration costs $25 and includes a hat, snacks, prizes and more. Children ages 10 and under will enjoy the game of tennis tailored to their size and attention span with smaller courts and racquets, lower-bouncing balls and simplified scoring. PlayDays are designed to introduce kids to competition in a fun, low-pressure setting where scores are not kept.
